Mediascapes
To create a Mediascape, you start with a digital map of your local area. Using special, free software, you can attach digital sounds, pictures and video to places that you choose on the map. GPS on your mobile device can add dynamic information to capture sounds as you move around outdoors. Download the software and follow a few steps to create your own mediascape.
- Download Mscape software to your computer
- Connect the mobile device to the computer
- Copy the player and starter mediascape to the mobile device
- Go outside and start the mscape player. Load the starter mediascape
- Wait for the GPS to pick you up and then enjoy!

Brian Eno published the first edition of Oblique Strategies in 1975 and has since added editions. The cards have printed statements of principles underlying accomplishment and effort. Games designed in Flash Lite will play on a Sony PSP. To get started, follow the instructions to add animations to the device.
- Download and install Flash Player 6 onto the PSP. The operating system needs to be version 2.70 or later in order for Flash Lite to be installed.
- Once installed and enabled create a folder on the root of the memory stick and call it 'Flash'.
- Transfer the swf files to the 'Flash' folder.
- Open the browser on the PSP and enter the URL as file:/flash/filename.swf
